Spang TV Site
Spang TV is home to the production services of Melanie Cox and her team. They offer all manner of production services for TV commercials, film, documentary work and just about anything in between.
I was brought in to build the site from a design by Aaron Gibson of 903 Creative. The site showcases Spang's work and hosts a blog, photo gallery and even some recipes from the local production industry.
The site is mainly HTML/PHP/CSS/Javascript with some Flash for the video display. The blog is a Wordpress system that I created a custom template to mirror the site's look and feel. The blog allows Melanie and her crew to easily post new content and update it.

Red Amp Audio Site
Red Amp Audio is a new recording studio in Richmond Va, with state-of-the-art facilities and a team of talented audio and video engineers and producers. I built the site in conjunction with Elevation advertising to showcase the new studio and I think the images alone speak for themselves!
The site uses mostly HTML/PHP/CSS/javascript with a little bit of Flash. A main focus is the audio/video samples from their demo reel, which are presented using a mix of javascript and flash. the site has a simple, clean interface that allows the images and content to stand out.

Richmond Music iPhone Mobile Website
The move towards mobile websites is becoming more and more common - I have been experimenting with the technologies for the last couple of years and have found some nice frameworks that help you build websites that behave like native iPhone apps.
The RMC mobile site uses JQTouch and php/mysql to search the instruments and display them on a mobile device. Still a work in progress, the world of mobile development is a young but interesting technology. Most any website can benefit from adding a mobile-accessible sub-site to accommodate mobile users.

9WG Studios Site
9WG is a new audio/video production facility in Richmond VA. The site is a small launchpad to the rest of the partners in the group. State of the art architecture and equipment speaks for itself in the images.
The site uses some flash and basic html/css. The flash elements may eventually be replaced with html5 and/or javascript.

Banner ads and more banner ads!
Lots of recent banner ad programming jobs, all shapes and sizes, with some nice designs by the folks at Elevation and myself.
Most of these get served up in the Google ad system, among others, using clickTAGs to track penetration and clicks, etc... An effective way to advertise your business and get some ad space on the major sites.
With the popularity of internet news sources and social sites, the cost of a banner ad campaign can really make sense these days versus a traditional print campaign.
Richmond Music Center Site Redesign
Full makeover for the Richmond Music Center site, adding many new features including a content management system so the staff can manage inventory and events, etc... W3C valid XHTML and PHP/MySql used throughout, with a Flash rotating ad system for the home page, as well as a couple of other flash pieces.
The site is also iPhone compatible, so folks can browse their favorite instruments from anywhere.

East West Partners Website
Redesigned site for East West Partners, a real estate development company. I worked with Elevation Advertising on this site.
The site is a combination of HTML/CSS and PHP, with some Flash elements for a bit of style. The JQuery javascript library was utilized for some of the presentation aspects, adding an animated feel to some of the page elements without having to use Flash, which allows for easy updating later.

Hutch Hi-Performance BMX
This was a cool project to work on for a few reasons. For one, this is the company that sponsored me when I raced BMX bikes way back when. The company was recently revived and is back on the scene, with a new life and lots of enthusiasm for the sport. I'm glad to see the company is in good hands!
The site was built using PHP/MySQL, Flash, Javascript, and some other nifty details. I created an admin section so the owner can update the News page, and will support future enhancements.
The main focus of the site is the E-Commerce aspect, which I built using the Zen Cart framework. It's a great open-source shopping cart software that is totally customizable to suit the client's needs.

Bexley Homes Website
This site was created for the Bexley Homeowners Association to promote the neighborhood and provide a central source for the documents, announcements, events and other information.
I created a flash 'virtual tour' slideshow with a custom music track, using photos provided by the folks at Bexley. I recorded the guitars for the soundtrack in ProTools.
The site was built all in w3c valid XHTML/CSS with PHP for the back-end code. A few small CMS elements were built to allow user updates to sections like announcements and events. A home listing section with image upload was created so residents can list homes for sale.

St. Bridget School Website
Website for a private Catholic School. Worked with Elevation Advertising for this site. The structure is all HTML/CSS with PHP/MySql back-end for page generation and CMS sections.

MWV Engineered Packaging
Flash project with animated sky and morphing geometric shapes,
as well as translucent rollover links.

MWV Eng. Pkg. Case Studies
This was a large Flash project that involved case study presentations for MWV's Engineered
Packaging. The case studies were comprised of multiple animated scenes showing the benefits of the new packaging.
The animations were synched to voice-over audio tracks.
